TEAM NEWS
Saido Berahino is available despite the striker threatening not to play for West Brom again after they rejected several bids for him from Tottenham.
Fellow forward Salomon Rondon will be assessed after returning from international duty with Venezuela.
Chris Brunt is fit after a hamstring problem, and Jonny Evans and Anders Lindegaard could make their debuts.
Virgil van Dijk could make his Southampton debut but Jordy Clasie and Ryan Bertrand are still out injured.
Victor Wanyama is in contention after missing the win against Norwich following reported interest from Spurs.
Cuco Martina and Sadio Mane will be monitored following long-haul flights during the international break.
MOTD COMMENTATOR’S NOTES
Simon Brotherton: "Saturday's team sheet will be interesting because both clubs had an unhappy player trying to force through a move to Tottenham just ahead of the recent transfer deadline.
"But neither Saido Berahino nor Victor Wanyama were allowed to leave as West Brom and Southampton adopted the same stance and said no.
"Berahino's threat via Twitter to not play for the club again reflected poorly on him, but Wanyama kept his counsel and has impressed Ronald Koeman with his attitude and renewed commitment since the international break.
"Koeman says he's prepared to forget it and Wanyama could play in this one. Berahino had dinner with Tony Pulis on Monday, but may have to settle for a spot on the bench."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
West Brom head coach Tony Pulis on want-away striker Saido Berahino: "I have no problems at all, he could play on Saturday.
"My big issue with Saido is he is immature at times in the way he reacts. Something he has done in the two windows since I've been here, his reaction has not been sensible.
"But I'm more concerned with getting Saido getting back playing football."
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman: "They [West Brom] always have good organisation. They like to play a little bit more defensive than we usually do, that's their way of playing.
"You have to respect that but it makes it more difficult because it can be 10 men behind the ball. They don't give a lot of space.
"It means you have to be good in your football, your ball possession and the most important is your final pass has to be good. We have to improve that.
"It's always different if you score first or they score first. If they score first they can do what they want and that's defending the result."
LAWRO’S PREDICTION
I have a feeling the points will be shared at The Hawthorns too. Slowly but surely, Baggies boss Tony Pulis is getting what he wants from his team.
