TEAM NEWS
Recent Watford signings Victor Ibarbo and Obbi Oulare are unlikely to make their debuts this weekend.
Ibarbo is awaiting international clearance, while Oulare is not match fit. However, fellow new signing Adlene Guedioura could be involved.
Swansea's Jefferson Montero has recovered from the thigh injury which caused him to miss the home victory over Manchester United.
His availability means Garry Monk has a fully-fit squad at his disposal.
MOTD COMMENTATOR’S NOTES
Alistair Mann: "As no top division team was more active in the transfer window than Watford, this weekend's match will be viewed as an early opportunity to test how successful their business has been.
"As well as the 15 new players recruited, it has also seen the departure of several key players who helped them secure promotion, with the likes of Gabriele Angella, Fernando Forrestieri, Miguel Layun and Matej Vydra allowed to leave.
"The hosts haven't scored since the opening day and are winless this campaign, so the visit of a much more settled, self-assured and unbeaten Swansea will rightly be viewed with a degree of trepidation."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores: "We don't have problems when we have the ball, the main problem is when we are in the last third.
"We are shooting less in the last few matches. We are working hard trying to solve this."
Swansea City manager Garry Monk: "The competitiveness of this group so far since they've come in has been incredible. Training every day can be a bit ferocious at times, but that's what you want – that attitude and that focus.
"They're all fighting for that starting place and it's hard for me to make that selection right now because they're all doing well. They are tough decisions, but that's what a good team should do, that's what a good club should do."
LAWRO’S PREDICTION
I said a few weeks ago that Watford might find it harder to play at home this season because their counter-attacking style works better in away games. I think that will be the same here. The Hornets can pick up another draw, but it will not be easy.
