John Stones: Everton is "perfect club and environment" – Martinez
Everton boss Roberto Martinez says Chelsea target John Stones is at "the perfect football club and environment" and will not leave this summer.
The 21-year-old England international asked to leave on Tuesday after the Toffees refused three bids from Chelsea, the last for £30m.
Martinez endorsed Thursday's statement from chairman Bill Kenwright, which insisted: "John is not for sale."
He said: "The chairman was really strong and made things very clear."
It is understood Chelsea do not currently intend to make another offer for the central defender and Martinez confirmed on Friday there had been no fourth bid.
Stones played the full 120 minutes of Everton's 5-3 extra-time victory over his first club Barnsley in the League Cup second round on Wednesday.
Martinez revealed he would also feature in Saturday's 17:30 BST kick-off against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
"It's been an emotional time for everyone but John is one of our most loved assets and he'll be ready," the Spaniard said.
"It seems like money can buy anything these days and clearly what we stand for at Everton is more important values."
Stones, who arrived from Barnsley for £3m in February 2013, has four years left on his contract after signing an extension in August 2014.
He was seen by Jose Mourinho as a possible replacement for Chelsea captain John Terry, who was substituted at half-time during his side's 3-0 defeat by Manchester City and then sent off against West Brom on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Martinez said he hoped to complete the signing of 22-year-old Uruguayan striker Leandro Rodriguez from River Plate on Friday and that international clearance for River Plate defender Funes Mori may take a few days.
