MOTD COMMENTATOR’S NOTES
John Roder: "One of Mark Hughes' many achievements since taking over from Tony Pulis at Stoke City is changing the general perception of the club.
"However, the current Stoke boss would surely be the first to pay tribute to his predecessor for establishing them in the top division.
"I was at Selhurst Park when Pulis, as Crystal Palace manager, first came up against the Potters. The Stoke fans gave him a magnificent reception, and I'm sure that will be the same again this Saturday.
"Xherdan Shaqiri has already made a big impression at Stoke. Salomon Rondon is poised to do likewise with West Brom as both these teams look for their first league win of the season."
