Hibernian made their way through to League Cup third-round draw, though it took a second half own-goal by defender Scott Rumsby to give them victory.
The home side dominated the early play, with Dylan McGeouch and Jason Cummings testing Stranraer keeper Conor Brennan and Fraser Fyvie hitting the bar.
Mark Oxley turned away a Craig Malcolm volley as Stranraer threatened.
But Hibs clinched the tie in 54 minutes when Rumsby turned the ball into his own net while trying to clear a cross.
More to follow.
