Hibernian sign up defender Darren McGregor after Rangers exit

Defender Darren McGregor has joined Hibernian on a two-year deal following his release from Rangers.

The 30-year-old spent a year at Ibrox, making 50 appearances, which triggered a new deal.

However, he did not play under new Rangers boss Mark Warburton and exited this week "by mutual consent".

"I've supported Hibs my whole life, so to now get the opportunity to sign for the club is brilliant," McGregor told the Hibs' website.
