Scotland captain Scott Brown, fellow midfielder Ikechi Anya and defender Russell Martin should be fit to face Georgia on Friday in Tbilisi.
The trio sat out training on Monday at Marr Hall in Bishopton.
But assistant manager Mark McGhee has "no fears" about their participation in the Euro 2016 Group D qualifier.
Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong and Ipswich Town defender Christophe Berra withdrew from the squad on Sunday after picking up injuries with their clubs.
Georgia, who sit second bottom of the Group D table go into the game looking to end a three-game losing streak in the qualifiers – and win their first game since Kahkaber Tshkadadze took over as head coach from Temuri Ketsbaia in December.
They are also without a win in six competitive home games since beating Belarus in September 2012.
But Scotland assistant manager Mark McGhee said: "They are under new manager and one of the things you find with all countries but certainly with these 'newer' countries, they have a passionate way about them, tribal almost, when it comes to supporting their country and playing for their country.
"You can be absolutely sure they will not want to be embarrassed at home against us.
"They are expecting a lot from their team so we have got to be up for it.
"We will be ready for Georgia's best performance, not hoping that they are going to play badly.
"If we take that approach, we won't be taken by surprise."
Zurab Khizanishvili is a familiar face for Scottish fans in the Georgia squad
Scotland are unbeaten in their five Group D games but are still looking for their first away victory.
Strachan's side defeated Georgia 1-0 at home in October thanks to defender Akaki Khubutia's own goal.
However, Georgia got the better of the Scots the first and last time they played in Tbilisi – 2-0 in 2007 after the Scots had won 2-1 in Glasgow.
Scotland lie third in the group behind Germany, who are Monday's opponents at Hampden, and leaders Poland, but McGhee is not interested in trying to work out the permutations of possible qualification.
"You can extrapolate it and perm any number of results from the remaining fixtures and come out with all sorts of outcomes and there are probably three of them which will still have us qualify," he said.
"That is not really constructive. What we can do on Friday night is win the game.
"Then we look at the other results and say 'where does that leave us?' and then go into the game on Monday.
"There is no panic, no anxiety, everyone sees it as an opportunity and we are looking forward to it."
Georgia's squad includes Zurab Khizanishvili, the 33-year-old former Dundee, Rangers, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United and Reading central defender who this summer joined Inter Baku in Azerbaijan from Samtredia in his homeland.
