Barnsley have on-loan pair Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell will be included in the squad to face Everton.
Manager Lee Johnson has no fresh injuries to report and is likely to name his strongest side.
Everton's Bryan Oviedo will make his first start since February after stand-in left-back Brendan Galloway sustained a knee injury.
Leighton Baines (ankle), Steven Pienaar (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (knee) and Darron Gibson (foot) are all still out.
John Stones – who joined Everton from Barnsley in 2013 – handed in a transfer request on Tuesday.
