MOTD COMMENTATOR’S NOTES
Guy Mowbray: "A measure of Palace's rapid progress under Alan Pardew could be in them not being seen as the 'lesser' side in games like this anymore.
"Some will even have them as favourites, especially with away form this year that's the envy of every other Premier League team.
"Pardew was right to beam about the strength of his 25-man squad this week. He's got options in every position.
" Two wins in a week have boosted Spurs, and Christian Eriksen's impending return can only further improve them. Son Hueng-min's signing certainly has done.
"Everything points to an entertaining and even contest."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew on the effects of the Europa League: "I've been involved in the Europa League, and it's difficult. Thursday to Sunday, the recovery time's not great and the energy levels of some of their players will not be at full capacity, it can't be.
"There will be fingers crossed that those guys can produce a Premier League performance on the back of a tough Thursday night. But we're fresh so that gives us a slight advantage.
"It isn't fair on the Premier League, because the intensity of our game is greater than any other European league, and until some sense prevails and you play on a Monday night when you have played on a Thursday, then I think all the teams in that competition will suffer."
LAWRO’S PREDICTION
This is a tough game for Palace side because Tottenham's win at Sunderland will have done them the world of good after their slow start to the season.
