Jose Mourinho set for 100th home league game as Chelsea boss
Ninety-nine games, seventy-six wins, one defeat, 250 points.
Jose Mourinho takes charge of his 100th home fixture as a Premier League manager on Saturday, with visitors Crystal Palace facing perhaps the most difficult away trip in world football.
In two spells as Chelsea manager, Mourinho has experienced defeat in the league only once at Stamford Bridge – a shock 2-1 loss to Sunderland in April 2014.
The Portuguese's record is the best of any manager in the Premier League era.
He has achieved six more wins and 16 more points than closest rival Sir Alex Ferguson (70 wins, 234 points) managed in his first 100 games, while Rafael Benitez is third on the list with 69 wins and 231 points in the same period.
The match against Palace is also Mourinho's 200th league game in charge of Chelsea. He boasts the best record of any manager in the equivalent period, with 137 wins and 453 points eclipsing Ferguson's record of 122 wins and 417 points in 200 games.
