Fitness influenzerà scelta – NI capo Michael O’Neill
Irlanda del Nord capo Michael O’Neill ha dichiarato che “gioco prontezza” svolgerà un ruolo importante nella sua scelta di affrontare la Romania a Belfast il 13 giugno.
O’Neill ha dato alcuni giocatori inesperti la possibilità di impressionare con un pareggio 1-1 contro il Qatar amichevole a Crewe.
“La mia squadra non necessariamente basato sulla squadra che ha battuto la Finlandia, ma chi è più pronto per giocare in termini di dove si verifica il gioco”, ha detto O’Neill.
“livelli di fitness e intensità in allenamento mostrerà che è il gioco è pronto.”
Tra i giocatori che possono entrare in la resa dei conti per posti barca per il cruciale Euro 2016 qualificazione al Windsor Park Paddy McNair e Stuart Dallas, che sia catturato l’attenzione di Alexandra Stadium di partenza.
“Le loro performance sono stati eccellenti. Vogliamo la concorrenza per i posti di partenza e questi due ragazzi hanno fatto con i loro schermi contro Qatar.
“C’erano un sacco di aspetti positivi da prendere dal gioco – molti dei nostri giocatori sono l’infanzia della loro carriera di club e sono invitati a giocare il passo nel calcio internazionale.
“Sono stato felice con un sacco di aspetti del nostro gioco e ho pensato che abbiamo giocato molto bene per 60 o 65 minuti.
“Il campo era un po ‘difficile, ma abbiamo provato a giocare un buon calcio. Potremmo avere più cura nel primo tempo con la nostra palla finale.
“Abbiamo avuto non così buone possibilità che abbiamo avuto in proprietà come avremmo potuto, ma abbiamo anche visto che alcuni di questi ragazzi non hanno giocato una partita nella parte migliore di un mese.
“E ‘importante che abbiamo il tempo in campo e noi abbiamo applicato bene. Abbiamo appena preso con un po’ di un pugno ventosa e la carità. Tutto sommato, è stato un esercizio prezioso.”
Irlanda del Nord si recherà a Dublino il Lunedi per un campo di addestramento a Carton House, a suonare la Repubblica d’Irlanda in una partita a porte chiuse il Giovedi.
