Steven Naismith: Swansea City eye Everton and Scotland striker
Swansea City are interested in signing Everton striker Steven Naismith, according to interim manager Alan Curtis.
The 29-year-old Scotland international has started only four league matches this season, but scored a hat-trick after coming on as a substitute against Chelsea in September.
Naismith was set to join Norwich but that deal appears to have stalled.
"I think he's on a list [of transfer targets]," said Curtis.
"I know he's a player available – he's an excellent player.
"Like all good players, if we can afford to bring him in, then we will be interested.
"We're still looking for that main striker. Steve is probably someone who plays just behind the main striker but someone we will be interested in."

Swansea are currently 17th in the Premier League table, hovering just one point above the relegation zone.
They have mustered only 19 goals in 21 league games this season – the second lowest in the division behind bottom club Aston Villa.
Curtis has previously said Swansea need to sign a striker, and their attempts to do so will be aided by the £12m they received from Newcastle for the sale of Jonjo Shelvey.
"There's a need to strengthen and we've got some money in the bank now, so it's important we spend it," said Curtis.
De Guzman return?
As well as adding to their attacking options, Swansea could be in the market for a midfield replacement for Shelvey.
Napoli's Dutch international Jonathan de Guzman, who spent two seasons on loan at the Liberty Stadium between 2012 and 2014, has been linked with a return.
"I think Jonathan's name has come up with the current crop of players, but I'm not sure," said Curtis.
"He may be injured at the moment so I'm not sure if he's available.
"Jonathan served the club well and if he was available, I'm sure we would be interested."
